This is what Fred advocates - just APPLY the Laws! It'll work better that anything else: those here are already packing and others wont bother to come - if all the states start applying the law.
looks like it's working better and faster that anticipated~
I hope his campaign people run with this -

Of course, Bill OReilly tells us we cant send them home... This doesn't send them home - it convinces them to go of their own accord - and they won't just turn around and come back tomorrow.
All you johny-one-notes of the BORDERBODERBORDERBORDER mantra should be jumping for joy. You get rid of a lot more people by giving them the incentive - even if forced - to leave on their own - and/or, not to come in the first place.
The best of all worlds...

"Everybody here, legally or illegally, we are part of a motor that makes this country run," Herrera said. "Once we leave, the motor is going to start to slow down."Baloney. The departure of the illegals will open jobs for unemployed citizens and reduce the drag on taxpayer funded social services, schools, medical facilities and law enforcement. Our nation was doing just fine before the illegal alien invasion. We'll do better as they go away.

The U.S. immigration policies prior to 1964 were based on merit. There was a careful screening process. Immigrants had to find jobs and were assigned a sponsor in the U.S. to shepherd them along the process to citizenship. That policy attracted the best and brightest immigrants to our country. Those immigrants were indeed an asset. The picture changed when the merit system was dumped. Edward "Swimmer" Kennedy pushed through the changes that eliminated the merit system and opened the door to uncontrolled immigration from 3rd world countries. Read the details of the Hart-Celler Act
here. Kennedy "promised" that the changes wouldn't cause our cities to be overrun with foreign immigrants. As usual, Kennedy was lying. That's what he always does.

Whenever I hear someone trying to make the case that they are "indispensable", I recommend taking the swimming pool test. It's simple. Enter the swimming pool and swim to the deep end. Find the ladder and climb out. If there is a cavity left in the water, you are indispensable.

Magdalena Schwartz, an immigrant-rights activist and pastor at a Mesa church. "They don't want to live in fear, in terror." Neither do US Citizens.

I think we should all pitch in to help buy them bus tickets to Massachusetts. I'd much rather bus tens of thousands of them to squat on Bush's ranch in Texas. See how he likes it.

....many are returning to their home countries Yep, see how easy it is? Cracking down hard on illegal-hiring employers gives them little incentive to stay. Combine that with eliminating their welfare freebies and rescinding the anchor baby laws and then there'd be no incentive for them to stay.

Truth is the problem is far worse than anyone knows.
The true number of illegals according to James H. Walsh in his book "The Social Contract" is far closer to 38 million than it is to 12 million.
Walsh is a former Federal prosecutor and US/German Marshall Fund Scholar on Immigration.
He has a complex formula that documents 36 million illegals here plus 2 million visa overstays giving a total of 38 million.
Bearing that in mind the tactics used in Arizona need to be implemented everywhere in the U.S. ASAP.

"Once we leave, the motor is going to start to slow down." Um, no. This is a capitalist nation and it works.
See-ya, and don't let the border hit you in the ass on your way out.

The original Arizona Repulic article which this AP is drawn from (and cant be posted on FR), show a lot of these folks in brand new Ford F150s and Minivans filled with all the possession they bought here....taking them back to Mexico. I asked my friend, now how much do you want to bet those cars arent paid off?
The Arizona law forces employers to check the Federal hotline for social security number fraud....and they are catching a large number of forgeries, etc. If the companies fail to comply, they lose their business licenses and the owners can go to jail.
