Those that know Willard the best, know he is a liar and a nightmare for anyone aligning with him politically.

Even a backstabber like John McCain would do less damage to the GOP.

If Republicans nominate Huckaby, they will lose big! Remember the southern baptists: Carter, Clinton and Huck!

It is amazing how many experts there are at being able to accurately predict what is going to happen. I've heard Romney will destroy the GOP, as well as just about every other candidate or the experts know so-and-so can, or cannot win.

The truth is NO ONE knows what is going to happen. Everyone is entitled to give an opinion but that's all it is--an opinion.

Jane Swift wrote this and that is all that one needs to know.

I think that someone less credible than this shameless hack could criticize Romney much more effectively if they only had a brain.

Looks like the same 1/2 dozen or so people on this board that are on a jihad against Mitt. Sometimes you can overplay your hand.

For those interested just do a search on some of them starting with Ol” Sparkey, Liesler and so on. You will find the “Mormon problem” in there postings.

Young blue collar people are fleeing Massachusetts in significant numbers--and many others who stay work under the table.

High taxes is one reason--and Romney's new mandatory health care insurance is another.

Give it a few years and nobody in Mass. will be able to get a toilet fixed.

When the &^%t flows all over their house they will remember Mitt's term as governor.

I really really hope we can do better.

:-(

Check out the author: Jane Swift, the "acting governor" whose plans for power Romney ruined.

Hell hath no fury...

“Jane Swift served as actring governor of Massachusetts from 2001 to 2003.”

She’s not too swift.

“In a Romney-Clinton match-up, Democrats need only take a page from the George W. Bush playbook: Undermine the voters’ sense that Romney can be trusted by highlighting the number of times he’s conveniently changed his mind.”

The writer may have some truth in her assertions, but the idea that anyone would be concerned about Romney flip-flopping as against the terrible ammoral/untruthful record of the Clintons is truly amazing. The news pundits are already talking about Clinton fatigue!

So! And just what candidate is worth a darn. All have baggage and never will see a Regan again. Best we can do is let the candidate that is selected be and totally get behind him. Least we get Hitlery. Too much poison garbage that I see on this site won’t help any.

“Americans don’t trust flip-floppers”—then the hildebeast can’t be trusted either.

The leftwing media loves Huckabee and fears Romney. That's all I need to know about these two. As for your provincial complaints I couldn't care less. This is for big stakes now, not a petty schoolyard squabble like Massachusetts politics.

Certainly McCain is a better man than Romney, or the Huckster.

Personally, I'd choose Fred or Rudy...

Both are consistent and both would fight the jihad.
