Those that know Willard the best, know he is a liar and a nightmare for anyone aligning with him politically.
Even a backstabber like John McCain would do less damage to the GOP.

Romney should’ve ran against John Kerry or Ted Kennedy where he could do some good. Him running for President is a waste of his talents.

His “core opposition,” according to Rasmussen, is 47%—just like Hillary (and five points higher than Rudy).

You're right. McCain has already extraordinarily damaged the GOP with his wackness. The only thing left for him is to stab the American people in the back.
Oh wait...

Romney Fairytale Script
Once upon a time there was a man named Mitt who said a very bad thing:
Romney: “I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country”
Then he thought of campaigning in Utah and said something different. “I am NOT pro-choice!”
But when he came back to liberal Massachusetts:
Romney: “I will preserve and protect a woman’s right to choose.”
Then in 2004 he magically became pro-life, but only six months later:
Romney: “I am absolutely committed to my promise to maintain the status quo with regards to law related to abortion and choice.”
The spell must have worn off.
Now he’s on the campaign trail again, and he’s back to being pro-life.
Romney: “I was pro-choice; I’m pro-life.”
“I changed my position”
“I never said I was pro-choice.”
Narrator: BR: Mitt Romney, willing to sacrifice children, lying for your vote.

Beyond the reasons mentioned here, his Kerry-like equivocation, there’s also the issue of spending ten years of his adult life in a racist church that discriminated against blacks — behavior he still refuses to say was wrong.
Since Mitt was a loyal, faithful Mormon and a missionary, we’re dopes if we think Mitt never defended the church’s racist doctrinal policies in conversation or preaching — and the Democrats are going to have people in standby who can remember it.

democrats are working overtime to defeat him. Good news for Mitt! They must have concluded that it will be Mitt against Hillary, and it aint looking good.

An check into my posting history from years ago will show I am no fan of John McCain, but given the choice of Rudy or McCain the choice would be hands down McCain or sit out.
Fred Dalton Thompson is my hands down choice for America!

Romney is the least of the candidates, IMO. His flip-flopping is one thing, and the rats will certainly exploit it, but I am more concerned that Mitt will wither in the face of criticisms from the dying, socialist Democrat newsrooms like he did when he ran against Ted Kennedy. In that senate race Mitt started out sounding like a conservative (and actually outpolling Kennedy att one point) to being "liberal-lite" (and losing in a landslide).
Watch Romney's "deer-in-the-headlights" debate performance and see for yourself.
Mitt found himself completely on the defensive. This was the debate that finished him off.

It’s easy to agree with this article, but the author of it is not strong on credibility.

This article is dead on target. Underneath the Romney Millions of $$$$ is a candidate that will say and do anything to win. He has absolutely no sense of honor.

Even a liberal Republican like Jane Swift can see the big problem with Romney.
