I didn't blame the Roman church for Hitler. I said nothing of the sort. I said Hitler's ideas about gradually stripping Jews of their civil, property and political rights was not his originally.

It appears he has said the Jesus did not come to earth to be the Messiah, so claims that Jews rejected Him as Messiah are false. He says he can back it up in a book he has written, In Defense of Israel.
I have not read the book. I did do a Google search and have read some reviews and seen Hagee’s video clip promoting the book.

The messiah will gather all Jews to Israel, rebuild the Temple, and rule the world from Jerusalem. Since this has not happened the messiah has not come.
Hagee is not saying J*sus is not the messiah (unfortunately from a Jewish/Noachide perspective) but that he won't qualify as the messiah until he does this at the "second coming." If this is heretical, then every single dispensationalist fundamentalist is a heretic. Which would be fine by me, since dispensationalist fundamentalists should be Noachides anyway.

No, you’re not. It was juvenile at best, and Huckabee calling opponents who disagreed with his spending priorities “unChristian” was downright ugly and uncalled for. One wonders what our Lord thinks of being used as a political weapon.

Does Hagee have an anounced stand on the border issues?
I think my sect...Southern Baptist Convention are maybe the only ones to have said we need to enforce or borders.
Hagee is right on about social morality issues.

I am of the opinion that it is ok to question other Christian sects as well as other religions and to make critical remarks about them. It’s nice to be polite about it though and not call them Spawn of Satan and whatnot.

Rudi is Catholic and I think I have seen almost no threads anywhere about how horribles that is. I just wish the somebeach was a genuine Catholic and then he would probably hold views to make him vote worthy..
I never heard anyone answer Huckster’s queries on Mormons....they just railed that he asked to begin with.
Now Hagee is smeared....rightfully or not.
I see two themes here.
Many Catholics here presume themselves Jesuit knights out to protect the faith and brook no critique and many here see Huckster as a seque to smear Fundamentalists and Evangelicals whom they dislike and whom they erroneously believe are the same thing.
The big difference between Fundamentalists (I’m not one) and ALL other Christian sects I know of including Catholics is that Fundamentalists by their very nature are true believers and are for walking the walk.
Charismatics even more so.
And I could gladly support one for POTUS were they right on my other issues. Huckster is not a Fundamentalist or Charismatic...he’s Evangelical ....one can be a lefty on social issues to a degree as an Evangelical...Carter is one.
I should do a thread here to explain this to so many FReepers who don’t have a clue.

That site you are alluding to that makes such claims is a noted Messianic Jews (Jews for Jesus) site.
I can see where their view of how Hagee views Jews and Jesus would be in serious conflict.
So....I take what they purport with a dash of salt.
Hagee claims more or less Jews are still on God’s plan by themselves and have their own reckoning.
Jews for Jesus ain’t gonna like that sorta talk are they?
