From the librarians at the Chicago Public Library's Information Center, here are some timely questions and answers.
What was Dr. King's address when he lived in Chicago in 1966?
In 1966, Martin Luther King, Jr. brought his civil rights crusade to Chicago. On January 26, 1966, Rev. King and two aides from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference moved into a $90-a-month, four-room apartment on the third floor of 1550 S. Hamlin Ave. The apartment was chosen as a "typical West Side ghetto apartment." When the landlord discovered that the civil rights leader intended to use the apartment, he had an eight-man crew refurbish it, against King's wishes.

How many people attended the rally at Soldier Field?
On July 10, 1966, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. addressed a crowd of more than 50,000 at Chicago's Soldier Field during the campaign to end slums in Chicago. At the end of King's speech, he led 38,000 of his followers on a march from Soldier Field to City Hall where he posted demands of the NonViolent Freedom Fighters on Mayor Richard J. Daley's door. This echoed the actions of his namesake, Martin Luther, the German theologian, who nailed his ninety-five theses (statements for debate) on the door of the Castle Church in Whittenberg, Germany, on October 31, 1517.

Where was the "summit meeting" between Martin Luther King, Jr. and Richard M. Daley?
Throughout the summer of 1966, King led other marches into white neighborhoods demanding that housing be opened up to blacks. To defuse tensions in the city, Mayor Daley called a "summit meeting" with Rev. King on Friday, August 26, 1966 at the Palmer House in Chicago.

Good research, but we really need to know the date of MLK’s first public speech in the city of Chicago. If that date is later than 12/31/1963, HRC=toast.
So do I, saw my Dad last night in a dream and he said DO NOT VOTE FOR THAT YANKEE WHITE TRASH, She is no good.

Wasn’t she the first person to set foot on the Moon in 1969?

I got a speeding ticket(42 in a 35) from a black cop in Port Gibson while Charles Evers was mayor. Does that count?
A guy named Lincoln was one of the earliest.
Like today, he had a lot of opposition from Democrats to get the right thing done for our nation.
Democrats today still want to keep black people enslaved. Today the the slave master is the government in various forms.
Shortly someone in that youth group will show up in Iowa to confirm Hillary’s!recollection.
Talk about bait.
Of course Roadham was born in 1947, at which time Edmund was an unknown Bee keeper in New Zealand.
Sir Edmund climbed mount Everest in May, 1953.
Guess Roadham spent 5 years without a name or birth certificate.
She must have learned this technique from her husband who can remember exactly where he was sitting as a young man while the "black" churchs burned in Arkansas. Of course it turns out that no "black" churchs suffered from arson during that period.
I guess it all depends on what the meanings of "is" "was" "after" "remember" "where" "named" "I" "my" etc. are.
Oh...and let's not forget "saw."
My parents took me to see JFK in Pittsburgh in 1960. I think I was in 10th grade at the time Kennedy came to what was then called Syria Mosque, a place where public speakers and performances were held. My parents were the Dems, so they took me along. I turned to the Republican party when I became an adult. Ya think seeing him speak way back then now makes me qualified to run for president? Duh!
I must be getting old.
It was Fayette not Port Gibson
I hate when that happens
She saw MLK when she “had a dream”.
And if so, why?
How can you rely on the media after reading that they can't even record simple facts correctly, such as what year Hillary went to see King, if in fact she ever did?
Relying on the media? Not hardly!!!
I would just like them to focus on current events instead of vetting whether or not an event happened 30 years as recorded.
After all is said and done whether Hillary actually saw MLK on that day really has nothing to do with what she will do in the WH if elected.
As for Mitt, we are actually talking about what his his father did or didn't do and if his memory from 30 years ago is 100 % accurate.
