Everyone I love the Cubs don't get me wrong.
But I have a bad feeling about what could happen if they at least make the playoffs in 08.
Hillary used to be a Cubs fan before she declared her love for the Yankees.
Obama represents Illinois.
It's pretty much a lock one of them will be the democratic nominee next fall.
2 weeks before the election they would take full advantage of the Cubs playoff or world series run.
They'd show up fully decked out in Cubs gear from their heads to their toes claiming lifelong support of the Cubs.
And how they feel the Cub fans pain.
Anything to get their mugs all over our television sets.
And I guarantee you the Cubs will be under pressure from the campaign to have the nominee throw out the first pitch for the first game.
Hopefully they won't give in.
