Police stress that the prints are just to make sure you are who you claim to be and do not go into any kind of database; they simply stay on the ticket for future reference if the identity is challenged.
Yeah...right. Just like the request "Do you mind if I search your car?" Yes, I do mind if you search my car. You're going to need a warrant for that search.
Fingerprints? You're going to have to file misdemeanor charges against me for fingerprints.
I would like for you to meet my attorney, and we are suing you for wrongful prosectution.
