I sure hope you are right. But he has name recognition that hundreds of millions of dollars cannot buy,,,,and there are still an incredible number of Republicans that have NO IDEA how LIBERAL he really is!!
While I'd love to see that, I wonder where his supporters go. There's really not another country-clubber Republican in the race, my guess is that half of them go to McPain, and half go to Romney, presuming either of them is in it by the time Rudy checks out.
