The libs fear Mitt the most of any of the GOP candidates. The proof is, is that he is criticized by the lib press more than any other pubbie candidate.

This shows fear to me. This anti-Mitt agenda makes me see that he is a threat to the liberals.

That’s a good thing in my eyes. This will get him more support, rather than less. They are baffoons, aren’t they?

The only way I see this as a bad thing is how it reflects a noticeable change from civil discourse in what was once a great conservative state.

yes. Wall Street Journal:
Democrats know it. Here's an interesting statistic: Since the beginning of 2007, the Democratic National Committee has released 102 direct attacks on Mitt Romney. Rudy Giuliani has warranted 78; John McCain 68; Fred Thompson 21

"The editorial board was especially offended and outraged that Mitt said he would double the size of Guantanamo and had refused to eliminate waterboarding as means of cracking terrorists with mass murder on their minds."

Hmmm, maybe I could support Romney.

Granted, the Union-Leader is also known as Pravda on the Merrimack, but this is very telling in a state which is literally in Massachusetts' back yard and a state in which many former MA residents have moved.

Kind of sounds to me like the leftist fish wrapper is more afraid of Romney than they are of the other Pubies.

"With respect to interrogations of terrorists, he is to the right of John McCain, his chief rival in new Hampshire."

It's not hard to be to the right of McCain on interrogations of terrorists. Hell, Ted Kennedy is to the right of McCain.

I would not call Romney a ‘conservative’. He is a conciliator, who will reach his hand across the aisle and cut deals with the Democrats.

He’s not a ‘liberal’ by any means, but he is well to the Left of George W. Bush.

Yes, you are right. Because Romney is to the Left of most of the GOP candidates, he would be very hard for the Democrats to beat in November.

Rudy Giuliani has warranted 78; John McCain 68; Fred Thompson 21. Mike Huckabee? Four. The most recent of these landed back in March. “

Does that last sentence mean that this only refers back to march of this year?

After reading it a few times, I think that it means that the last of the Huckabee attacks by the DNC was last delivered in March.

I agree. Yahoo!! I am happy about this “anti endorsement”! Great news.

Also, the story about Mitt Romney’s father (who is not here to defend himself) - I believe that story was good for Mitt, too, because we all found out about Mitt’s father’s stellar record on civil rights. He was a major force and hero. Go, Mitt!
