Many respectfully disagree.

However, debate is what we're all supposed to be here for.

RP, and you, may be nuts. That's a matter of opinion, though. It's going to be a long campaign. We shall see what happens in the next few weeks and months. A meltdown may occur. Which will make it entertaining, for a change.

I think you are as Nuts as Ron Paul. I saw the same interview and came away with the realization he is a raving lunatic.

I would have to believe anyone that never saw the same lunacy as everybody else did on Sunday would not be voting for a Republican anyway......

Good point. At least Canadians don’t need us to reprint the ballot in a foreign language.

Ron Paul is clueless on foreign affairs; yet he serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Scary.

So are you knocking Iran’s current military because the Mullahs during the war with Iran armed kids with plastic keys and told them if they were lucky enough to step on a mine as they were ordered to cross minefields the plastic key would be a direct license to Heaven? They could have cared less if the kill ratio was 25 to 1; they had plenty of willing kids to die for Allah; Saddam did not.

****You must have the same critical thinking abilities as those who watch Inconvenient Truth and take it as gospel. Anyone can SAY anthing.*****

Actually the government uses the same type of empty logic to defend the IRS as global warmers use to defend their scam. Income Tax is every bit as big a fraud as Global Warming and you guys are refusing to listen to evidence from US law and the Supreme Court that proves this. If anyone here can point to a law or legislation that is supported by a Supreme Court ruling that makes submitting federal income tax mandatory please do so.

You miss the point that Ron was absolutely correct in observing that the rest of the so-called civilized world abandoned slavery by means OTHER than an internecine war.

Which begs the question: If that war wasn’t really to overturn slavery, just what WAS its purpose?

Ron also correctly answered THAT question in the same interview (for those who were actually listening).

Oh and BTW, SLAVERY still exists in much of the rest of the world today — but you don’t hear much about that from Bill Kristol and the rest of the lap-dog media, do you?

Are you one of those who said illegal immigration will never be an election issue too?

Sorry we are keeping Prime Minister Stephen Harper. In Twenty years time he will be thought of in the same way that President Reagan and Prime Minister Thatcher are thought of.

Same deal with the Soviets during 'The Great Patriotic War,' except the Commies saved time & effort by not providing the troops any plastic keys: they just informed the soldiers that they would be shot if they refused to advance over the mine fields...

Ron Paul is sort of like Michael Savage...he makes sense for five minutes and then a switch goes off and his train takes off for Crazyville Station and the brakes are out.
