Crime statistics
The FBI Uniform Crime Report (UCR) is a common measurement of the Crime Rate. Law enforcement agencies throughout the United States submit monthly statistics on Part 1 crimes to the FBI. This report was designed to gather reliable criminal statistics that law enforcement agencies can use to identify crime trends and develop strategies to address those trends.
