More proof what a sheltered life I led, but then I was one of two in our class who didn’t drink beer much less anything else.

yeah but it’s about quality not quantity

$60-$80 for something that resembles potting soil...$250 for the stuff grown indoors and tended.

What the hell is a lid? It was the amount of weed that fit easily into the lid of a can of Prince Albert (or similar) loose tobacco. It was an easy, if inexact, way to measure out an ounce in the days before all dope dealers carried balance scales on lanyards around their necks.

Sure you could stop the movement of drugs across the border. All that would do is stimulate replacements. If the supply of cheap Mexican marijuana is cut off, grow it at home. If cocaine is cut off, produce methamphetamines in the US. As long as the demand exists, there will be ways to fill that demand. Econ 101. It’s like a force of nature, even algore can’t stop a hurricane.

Do you remember the real title and who did it?

Very clever. And to think, all we had was a vinyl LP.
