This should make sure Serbia ends up in a situation where they have no choice but to take a very pro-russian stance. Brilliant.

The fact the Serbia bombing was allowed to go virtual unchallenged, and remain so for nearly a decade, says to me that this action had support at some level or place that the GOP knew better than to challenge. Contrast with the opposition to the Iraq invasion today, and the open criticism from the DNC.

It’s not the first time America betrayed the Serbs. Roosevelt sent emissaries as the Second World War was drawing to a close, ordering that Yugoslavia should be turned over to his pal Stalin. That sorry betrayal is portrayed in the third novel of Evelyn Waugh’s “Sword of Honour” trilogy.

I’m convinced that one of the reasons clinton did it was because he got a cut of the action from the Albanian drug runners. After the takeover of Kosovo, the heroin trade into Europe promptly doubled.
