Donald Young, 47, was found in his South Shore apartment Sunday morning, dead after suffering multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
The Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. said the popular Young “lived and breathed” music at Trinity United Church of Christ, which is best known as Sen. Barack Obama’s church.
Young also taught fourth grade at a Guggenheim Elementary School.
Christmas presents and jewelry were missing from his home, authorities said.

“I can’t see that it’s Obamas church is germane to the story”...There was the same thing this week when a guy that lives on the same block as the Clinton’s in Chappaqua New York was arrested for the murder of his wife a year ago. The news story said something to the effect. “It appears the former President was not involved.” What the heck? I guess this is just the new media.
