DOn’t you have to be the author of an idea or an expression of an idea to receive a copyright?
These Egyptians did not create this expression...therefore they sould not be able to claim that they did and receive copyright protections.
Different people have different ideas of what copyright should be. Some people think anything can be copyrighted and that it should last forever. Despite our present laws, this is now how our system was designed.
Plus they use the term "Intellectual Property" and get confused between copyright, trademark, patent and trade secrets. The Egyptians are clearly confusing copyright and trademark.
