Deport the Muslim Arabs to Palestine. Better yet deport them to the Arab World. That would solve Israel's demographic problem and the money used to build a security fence could be invested elsewhere to greater benefit.

Translation: Israeli Arabs prefer remaining in the 21st century rather than returning to the 6th.

The same poll in other Muslim countries in the region would probably have similar results.

Certainly that would be so among folks who can read.

“Deport the Muslim Arabs to Palestine. Better yet deport them to the Arab World. That would solve Israel’s demographic problem...”

When Palistinians want to do that to Jews it’s called ‘right of return’ (read: take over Israel and expell all Jews.) When Jews do that to violent Palistinians it’s called ‘ethnic cleansing’.

Mike Huckabee is quoted as saying that there should be a Palestinian state, but that it should be located in Saudi Arabia or Egypt.

There is a Palestinian state already - it’s called Jordan.

By creating a dual state in Israel, the United States is indeed encouraging a form of apartheid in the area. Jimmy Carter was right in calling it that.

The only place where orthodox Jews and Muslims live in peace is in the United States, where we don’t have separate Christian, Jewish, and Muslim governments.

When is the Bush administration (and Olmert) going to get a clue? A Palestinian state is a fantasy.

Actually, there is a Palestinian state already . . . the Gaza Strip, which is heavan on earth . ./sarc

Not sure why the Huckster thinks that, but any Palistinian state will rapidly devolve into a terrorist cesspool. Gaza is the template.

Gov. Huckabee expressed frustration with Israeli politicians who wanted to give away the Golan Heights and firmly opposed dividing Jerusalem.

When asked about a Palestinian state, Gov. Huckabee stated that he supports creating a Palestinian state, but believes that it should be formed outside of Israel. He named Egypt and Saudi Arabia as possible alternatives, noting that the Arabs have far more land than the Israelis and that it would only be fair for other Arab nations to give the Palestinians land for a state, rather than carving it out of the tiny Israeli state.

Gov. Huckabee, who has visited Israel nine times, also expressed support for moving the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and stressed the importance of making America energy independent in ten years for both environmental and national security reasons. “We just can’t continue to be dependent on Saudi oil,” explained Huckabee, “I want to be able to tell the Saudis that we need their oil about as much as we need their sand.”

Used to be Kuwait had just about as many Palestinians as the West Bank.

There are a lot of them in the US in fact. My dentist is of Palestinian descent.

Lot of 'em came from Mount of Olives.

Gov. Huckabee expressed frustration.....

Yes, he is right on a couple issues.... but Duncan Hunter is right on almost every single one and his record backs up his talk instead of contradicting it like most of the current candidates....

I honestly think that I have a better chance at being the GOP nominee than Duncan Hunter does. When is he going to face reality and drop out of the race??
