Did FR's "back one page" behavior change?

Posted on 12/26/2007 6:12:12 AM PST by 212351st

It seems like the "back" function changed in Free Republic. In the past when I backed up a page, I would go to the previously viewed page. Now when I back up a page, it refreshes the backed up page. I find that very annoying, when I am working my way down a list of topics and the list changes dramatically, when I go back to the list of topics.

Did FR change, or did I change an option in my browser, which is Seamonkey??

Thanks

try tabbed browsing -keep a tab on the original page and open new tabs to view links.

I have noticed that when I hit [BACK] to refer to the thread when posting, everything I have typed into the Your Reply: window is gone when I forward back. Now I just post my thread in a new window, which works fine.

They weren’t a real music group just a bunch of fakes.

Disconnect from the grid,
move to the mountains,
wear natural fibers
and install Linux.

Or, you could just get a Mac.

Did FR's "back one page" behavior change?

With proper discipline, it can change.

“the Monkeys really sang and really wrote songs however.....that sounds kinda real”

It was a joke playing on the legend that the Monkeys were fake band. Sheesh

Linux might work though.

That’s what I thought, but I haven’t been able to find anything that applies.

Thanks....

"With proper discipline, it can change"

Discipline is important, but the page has to want to change.
