Gore tried to steal the 2000 election... that's all that needs to be reported. Actually, it's a three-sentence story:
1. Gore tried to steal the 2000 election.
2. The Florida Supreme Court tried to help him steal it.
3. The US Supreme Court said "NO!".

Dems and their narcissism lunacy about 2000 elections. Gore tried to steal the election. End of telefilm.
My problem with the 2000 elections is that the courts should have let the political process run as stated in the Constitution. Bush would have won, he had the electors. Unfortunately, the FL courts are so corrupt and biased to Dems, they made unconstitutional decisions, so there was little choice but for the Supreme Court to step in. Our court system is broken.

Before that moment, Algore campaign staff were outraged because the massive fraud hadn't worked.

The media tired to suppress the Conservative vote by calling Florida for Gore before the western(and more Conservative)polls closed.
Gore lost.
The media and Dems stirred up a bunch of old folks.
Recount. Gore Lost. Recount. Gore Lost. Insert Dem corruption to steal the election. Supreme Court stops the mess.
Bush wins.

Gore tried to steal the 2000 election... that's all that needs to be reported Mr. Global Warmed over conceeded the election, then tried to conceed his concession. He got the Florida Supreme Court to overturn the Florida Constitution on the matter, driving it all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court. If the U.S. Supreme Court had not put an end to Albert Bore's shenanigans all state constitions would have become malieable throughout any election, throwing the process into chaos.

Of course they’re going to show us the part where the Gorons went out of their way to try and disallow military overseas absentee ballots through technicalities those servicemen had no control over. Probably in one second of the movie, like a flash card but my guess the movie makers will avoid the subject like the plague.

Let me guess. This will be televised just before the 2008 election.

Wondering how many times they'll air it between release and the 2008 elections?
Or, if they'll just hold it until about October 27?
But I'm sure that would be entirely coincidental.

Will they cover the attempt to hold an illegal secret meeting by a county board of elections (I forget which county) with Republicans outside the door pounding and chanting "Let us in, let us in"? No, I didn't think so.

Still, HBO expects many of the real-life figures featured in the film will help promote the project once they see a final cut.Gorons, Clintonites and assorted other dead-enders.
Keep in mind that it was Gore that first ran to the courts.

You may notice that one book that the producers did NOT consult was, “At Any Cost” by Bill Sammon of the Washington Times. It was a great expose of what Gore was doing to try to steal the election. This is going to be more revisionist history and unfortunately too many people believe what they see on TV or in the movies as being factual.

There have been many incarnations of the script, the HBO representative said in response to questions about literary license taken in the film.Literary license? Several script incarnations? So I guess this will be a typical Democratic Party production, one dedicated to their emotions irregardless of the truth.

I’m sure it’ll harp on the fact that the SCOTUS decision was only 5-4 and ignore the fact that the decision was 7-2 on whether recounts as being done violated both constitutions. It was only 5-4 on the question of whether there was enough time to fix the system, which there wasn’t.
