Just waiting for the anti-Mitts to show up. After all, they are so much more intelligent, informed and well-spoken than the author of this article.

Not.

They'll start screaming "liar" and "RINO" and "sleazy" and "Flip flopper."

Romney is the raw deal. If that gun grabber wins, my Second Amendment rights will be gutted.

Ok...I’m here. Mitt’s a flaming flip flopping lying phony liberal. Happy? Pretty sad when you post a thread hoping for abuse. Don’t worry though. I am sure more of the 73% of FR members who support Fred Thompson will show up to disparage the liberal former governor of the Massachusetts.

I don’t know about screaming, but posting that Willard’s a liberal flipflopping liar should be expected: it IS true.

They'll especially like this part:

Unlike Fred Thompson, Romney has not been revealed to have a lazy streak. Aside from being a key backer of the McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill, in his eight years in the Senate, Thompson was the primary sponsor of only four pieces of legislation, none of any significance. On the campaign trail, the sour-looking Thompson has distinguished himself as someone who schedules two or three events a week and often cancels at the last minute. A former CIA officer recalls what happened when Thompson and seven other members of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Committee visited Pakistan in late 2002. “The other senators, including John Edwards, attended the classified intelligence briefing,” the former officer says. “Thompson blew it off and spent a lot of time drinking and eating.”

LOL.

With the help of the media, opponents have managed to portray Romney as a flip-flopper. The fact is that while most of the candidates have changed position on some issues, Romney has made a clear change on only one issue. While he has always been personally pro-life, like Ronald Reagan, he is a convert to the pro-life position when it comes to public policy.

So that means he's still anti-gun and pro AWB and AWB2. Just as I always knew. An unrepentant gun grabber who will trample on the Second Amendment. Vote for Romney? There will be ice skating in Hell first.

Just waiting for the anti-Mitts to show up.

I'm not anti Mitt, I'm pro-American. That means I believe in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights...all of the amendments, including the Second Amendment. Too bad Mitt doesn't believe in the Second.

I’m pretty much in favor of any of the Republican candidates except Paul and the Huckster. But, for some reason, The MSM appears terrified of Mitt.

I stopped reading half way thru.

Couldn’t stomach the juvenile backbiting and cheap shots against every other candidate.

Not a classy way to go.

There is a simple fact: a sizable number of evangelicals will never vote for Romney. Call this bigoted, stupid, the work of the devil, whatever you want. If you can’t secure your base there is little hope of winning the general election.

And by the way, the pro-Mormon bigots have been quite as offensive as the anti-Mormons.M y Merry Christmas from a number of you has been to assign me to a “special place in hell” next to my buddy Hitler. Best wishes to all you kind folk as well.

Of course, this hints at the dark side of anyone who opposes a Mormon. But what do I know, it’s not like I’m a God like Mitt. Y’all may be just unfortunate to get what you wish for - eight years of schismatic doctrine war.

Half the stories and references to Romney in the media refer to his religion, which is irrelevant to how he would perform as president.

Quite an indictement. I can't tell if the author is attacking Romney or his religion in that statement.

I think Romney is a smart guy, but he will go which ever way the wind blows politically. He cannot be trusted to stand up for conservative principles when push comes to shove.
