Milktoast! This event was the nail in the Romulan’s political coffin and underscores reasons why he should never be considered for anything outside of running a state. He and his sons have demonstrated a distain for anything military, and the events around Pakistan may indeed require a military response.
I’m thinking about the security adjustments for the Olympics that had to made within a couple of months after 9/11, which would have involved working with a multitude of foreign governments. I can’t think of another presidential candidate with this type of experience.

I doubt if FRed could even pull off “acting” presidential in the face of global terrorism...his main claim to a shining moment was as a minority counsel to former Tennessee Sen. Howard Baker during the Watergate hearings. He, like Rudy, begged for a law deferment from the draft when his country needed him most.
