for scaring voters who have been living under a rock for the last four decades by saying it (SS) has problems. There, fixed it.

Thank you. I remember my father telling me in the 60's that Social Security was going to collapse into itself. It was a Ponzi scheme that could not support itself.

I mentioned this in passing (during the 90's) to my BIL, who is an ivy league trained lawyer, as is my husband, as was their father who was also a judge. This BIL went to a CPA he trusted, asked him about my claim , and came back to me and announced to me that I was out of my mind. He hasn't mentioned it since.

My finance guy told me I would have had over TWO MILLION DOLLARS at age 66 if all my SS and Medicare money, (including my employer’s match), was invested in a good quality balanced fund all these years.
I am currently in remission from Leukemia, and my life expectancy is thought to be age 62 to 67.
Ponzi scheme seems so inadequate to describe the wholesale unconstitutional theft that the United States Government has condoned all these years.
And let’s not forget that we all pay income taxes on the 7% payroll tax stolen from us.

Safe, legal and rare...

Probably one of the stupidest positions and least remarked upon. Why should abortion be rare, if there is nothing wrong with it? Why should it be rare if it is a legal and important and normal medical procedure? Do we ask that tooth extractions be rare? Do we require safe, legal and rare heart transplants?

We currently have relatively rare psychiatric treatment, but HILLARY! is trying to require inclusion of that treatment on all insurance. Why is abortion the only medical procedure the far, far left requests to be rare? Because as usual, they are lying. They know if folks think about an abortion, they will find it abhorrent and grisly. As a routine medical procedure it is generally unnecessary and cruel. So the far, insane left lies and requests rarity of its most sacred sacrament.

If an abortion is like a tooth cleaning, why keep them “rare”? What is the dirty little secret?

I agree. 3,000 dead a day is not rare.

Another way to look at it.

While we’d like to see more preventative care and lifestyle changes to avoid heart surgery, we do want to see heart surgery rarely needed.

No one says that birth control needs to be “safe, legal, and RARE”. Abortion is largely used AS birth control but it snuffs out a growing life, unlike other methods of birth control. And we are told that it is no one’s bidness how someone got pregnant but the nannystate IS interested in seeing that we pay more if we are going to eat unhealthy food or smoke.

The federal employees do NOT participate in the Social Security ripoff scheme. They should be under the SAME umbrella. No two-tier system.
