However, Paul voted FOR the preliminary votes which installed earmarks he wanted for his district. And those earmarks, and everyone else's, were paid for by those tax increases. In short, Ron Paul is a fraud on the very issue that this "letter" features.

Excellent point.
Most people take for granted the things that we have in this country and assume other countries have the same. Iraq’s infrastructure was primitive to begin with. I would often shake my head when people would say that those poor people are without electricity for hours a day, the reality being that the electricity was on far longer than they had previously. That is just one example...hospitals ...schools etc were not as they are now.
