They've pretty much signalled their contempt for a good percentage of their potential customer base - conservatives, moderates, Republicans, traditional Christians. They basically say, "We don't like you, we think we're better than you, and you can go stuff it." Formerly, they could occupy a position somewhat to the right of the far-left P.I., but that gap has almost vanished and they're losing people on the middle-to-right.
