LA Times poll (Dec 20-23 & 26) was done 80% pre-Christmas, and 100% pre-Bhutto (which means pre-Huckabee foul-ups on Pakistan). It is also before the most recent Romney ad blitz.
My larger point is - they don’t know how it will turn out. My guess is that the final vote will not look like any of the polls taken. It is difficult to measure the passion of voters which will translate into actual votes cast.
