KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - A key Taliban commander in southern Afghanistan has been dismissed for disobeying the militant group's rules, a Taliban spokesman said Saturday.
Mansoor Dadullah was "disobeying orders" and conducting activities "against the Taliban's rules and regulations," said Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid. He did not provide any details.
"For this reason Mullah Mansoor Dadullah is no longer in the Taliban and no longer a Taliban commander," Mujahid said in a statement he attributed to Taliban leader Mullah Omar.
Dadullah rose in the militia's ranks as a key commander in southern Afghanistan after his brother, Mullah Dadullah, was killed during a military operation last May in Helmand province. Mullah Dadullah was the highest-ranking Taliban commander killed since the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.
Mansoor Dadullah could not be reached for comment.
Mujahid said Taliban sympathizers who had been providing help to Mansoor Dadullah should stop.
Likely translation: he was caught with a young boy in a way that couldn't be denied to the rank and file.
Or, something like that.
I’m betting that this guy is dead meat.
What's a "militant"?
Someone should have told him he was getting to attached to that camel.
Norm this a joke?
Man, getting kicked out of the Taliban for rules infractions. Life sucks for him.
Well, I’m glad to see they have rules and regulations. I had thought they were just a bunch of disorganized barbarians.
There once was a man named Dadullah
Who the Taliban said was a fool-ah
They stripped him of his rank
His hopes of glory they sank
If he takes a dirt nap, that would so cool-ah.
He was kicked out because, unlike his brother, he didn’t have a named that rhymed.
Well, maybe we can find this clown and turn him...
Wasn't there a scene in F-Troop when they removed someones stripes and break his sword.....the Taliban just did the same thing.
I bet they could his black turbin..
straight up story.. sounds like he didn’t have the right stuff..

Taliban Commander Mansoor Dadullah Follows his Brother’s Footsteps
Oh Hell, kill him anyway.....
That was Chuck Conners, in "Branded".
Branded! Cursed with a coward's shame.
What do you do when your branded, and you fight for your name?
Branded! Scorned as the one who ran.
What do you do when you're branded, and you know you're a man?
Whereever you go for the rest of your life,
you must prove...you're a man!
Funny, the useless stuff you remember.
hmmm - meeting with a couple of M-16 guys?
Now that's funny!
Looks like the gravy-train is over for him.
Might have to give up his cave.
mil·i·tant adjective 1. vigorously active and aggressive, esp. in support of a cause: militant reformers.
2. engaged in warfare; fighting.
noun 3. a militant person.
4. a person engaged in warfare or combat.
...were you being serious?
What, he took a bath in both November and December?
Seriously. His resume is screwed.
That was “Branded”.
what exactly are the taliban’s rules and regulations?
I knew you were an F Troop fan....:-)
“conducting activities “against the Taliban’s rules and regulations,”
Did the guy bath or maybe brush his teeth?
I remember that show.
Fan, heck, I was in it, only it was E-Troop, 106th Cav!
Kill him anyway.
Ask a woman for her opinion.
Refuse to sodomize a young boy.
Listen to music.
methinks he was doing the nasty with a camel...
Was wondering there for a minute whether I was getting a funky Babelfish translation.
maybe he was involved in......
Well, which one of the 30 rules did he violate, Norm?
Stepping back in time...

Got caught in a compromising position with an underage goat.
Nice , that’s right out of the Far Side ....
Of course some people might want to know what all 30 of the rules are, so here’s 2 links and we’ll put them here for archival purposes:

They’re getting very strict at the Kandahar Golf and Desert Club ....
Disgusting Rules....would bet that every one is broken too.
The 3 pictures at the end is horrible...imagine an 11 year old ‘wife’ ?
I remember a movie with Lee Marvin- “The Big Red One” in which the women of the Italian village take their scythes and sickles to their ruthless German tormentors..Waiting for the day when the Arab women rise up and say enough and do the same thing to the Taliban and Al-Q dogs..
Then dismissed takes on a whole new meaning, something along the lines of beheaded or Mansoor gets a new nostril between his eyes.
I understand what you are feeling.
I used to have the rules somewhere, but couldn’t find the taliban link.
The site may be off line (Thank God).
What would an ex Taliban commander do? Think about it, they have many fighters personally loyal to them that would mutiny and destroy the cohesiveness of the entire command. The Taliban could not trust that he wouldn't roll over to Karzai and rat out the whole operation.
No, the only way to leave the Taliban is feet first. This story is nonsense.
