In the long run, if you’re concerned about these sorts of things, it pays to get a Macintosh computer as we (the ones who have them) never have had to be concerned about those sorts of things. I’ve got an anti-virus checker and I rarely run into an alert of any kind. And when I do, it’s always been a Windows alert and never one for the Macintosh.

Surf on a Macintosh and never be concerned about those malicious viruses...

Trojan targets Apple Macs Date: November 2nd, 2007

X marks the spot: Hackers turn attention to Apple's OS

Hackers are increasingly focusing on Apple's Mac OS X, and the number of newly discovered vulnerabilities has surged. Such a switch could mean big implications for Apple's user base, which has traditionally not had to concern itself too much over security.

Do you know how many years that there have been articles warning this and that for the Maciintosh (usually from companies that sell anti-virus software, doncha see... LOL) saying that there is this “proof of concept”, that researcher that has shown this and so on? LOL!!

All the while, nothing happens. It goes on and on and on and nothing happens. And the articles keep coming. The worst thing that the Macintosh users have to be concerned about are those articles saying that something is going to happen...

Even the U.S. Military (one of their branches of military was said to be moving in a lot of Macintosh computers in order to reduce the risk for them (I guess in having some good computers, in case they get “hit” with all their Windows computers).

The risk so *so non-existent* that companies have problems selling *any Macintosh user* — any kind of anti-virus software at all. Macintosh users just don’t buy it, as a rule (and as a group), because it’s such useless software, since nothing ever happens. So, these companies are trying to increase their “bottom line” and trying their darndest to scare Mac users.

So far it isn’t working and their software sales for anti-virus software is “in the tank”... LOL

I just have to laugh, bigtime, at these companies...
