That is the kind of thinking that has us in the position where the Huckster is a potential nominee for the republican party. All spectrum of conservative issues are important, not just abortion and guns.

The abortion issue is important, but not the end of the story. After all if abortion is THE issue for you then you must love Harry Reid, because he is pro-choice.

For my part although I am pro-life, I am much more concerned about the lives of 300 million Americans, if the likes of pro-life Mike “Bunker Mentality” Huckabee are running our foreign policy under the banner of “conservatism”. (shudder)

Did I say that other issues were not important? l was replying to his remark that those 2 were not important to him. I am about as conservative as anyone can get and I think this country is in a very bad condition right now. It seems that people do not care to learn about candidates and what they believe in. I was very pro-Rudy until I started reading about what he stood for. Boy, that woke me up! Mitt is about as bad. We do not need any kind of liberal in the WH.
