I have no problem with the “mob” voting for House members. The 17th robbed the “States” of representation in the Republic. The current election of Senators depends entirely on manipulating the “mob” with money to buy a Senate seat. I really think no matter which party runs the Legislature in each State they would not be appointing Senators that would willy-nilly give up State perogatives to a Federal Government as is the case now.
