Yes, and that’s why it doesn’t matter in terms of exactly how she was killed, when either it could have been by a bomb or by a bullet. In both cases, they were done by the same group (which seems to be al Qaida). The fact that they had a shooter and a bomber was just to make doubly sure (i.e., “increase their odds”) of succeeding.
Now, I don’t think that people should ignore exactly what mechanism killed her. They should find out. However, once they find out, it won’t change the fact that al Qaida was the group behind it and that they tried before, a few months back and they were going to constantly go after her until they succeeded.
