Agreed. That's why I find all this so puzzling. Why should he try to impose some kind of cock and bull story if she was shot and everyone saw her being shot? It only stirs the pot and increases anger and suspicion with the government. And for what?
Musharref would lie in a minute if there was a good reason to. But I don't think he's stupid enough to lie on a misguided impulse.
