Professor Walter Williams' wife, Connie, passed away from a subdural hematoma suffered after a fall.
The world needs to take note of such people and seek to emulate the best of what they brought our world.
Please keep them in your prayers.
Walter Williams is one of our family’s favorites - lovely man, so sad at his loss. The Lord be with him at this time.
Oh, I’m so sorry to hear this! I love Walter Williams’ articles, and it sounded like he had a very happy marriage.
What a heartbreaker. He’s a good man and a true patriot.
Good man...his late wife obviously a saint.
I’m so sorry to hear this. My sympathies to Mr. Williams.
Prayers up for Mr. and Mrs. Williams.... I have to stop typing
... my screen is very blurry....
Prayers on the way for her eternal rest, and for the comfort and consolation of her friends and family.
This is very sad, it was obvious Dr. Williams loved her a great deal.
That’s just horrible. God bless her and keep her. He is one of the sanest and wisest pundits in America, and I’m sure she had a lot to do with that.
He certainly showed over the years his love for his wife.
Dr. Williams is my all-time favorite Rush guest host, and this just breaks my heart. I used to love listening to him joke about Connie, and once had to pull over while listening in the car I was laughing so hard. The gyst of his one joke was, "She ain't getting none of the Walter with her attitude..."
I will keep him in my prayers. They had an inspirational and wonderful marriage.
That’s so sad. Prayers for her, him, and the family.
Prayers up for Walter Williams and his family. He is a great human being and a brilliant academic, due in no small part to his wife, no doubt.
Our heartfelt sorrow and prayers for Walter and his family.
Please pay your respects to Walter Williams and his family.
I'm at a loss for words. Suffice it to say I considered Professor Williams a great American.
May God bless the loved ones with comfort and peace.
May G-d bless you, Dr. Williams, and comfort you at this time as He comforts all mourners. You could always hear the devoted love as you joked about your wife. She must have been a very special woman. I am so very sorry for your loss.
God Bless Connie
and prayers for Dr. Williams.
How sad, he and his family will be in our prayers today.
Walter Williams’ website:
This is so sad. Williams had such great affection for his “Mrs. Williams”. The way he joked about her was precious.
I’d always laugh when Dr. Williams would talk about how his wife could only leave the house after she had completed all the chores on the list he had for her. I’m sure that list only existed in his dreams.
A man of his intellect is as rare as a marriage that lasts as long as theirs did.
God Bless him.
Prayers up for Mr. Williams and the family.
So sorry to hear of his tragic loss.

Poor guy. Sad.
Oh my goodness, what horrible news! She was a saint for putting up with kitchen utensils as Christmas gifts all those years. Prayers for her, Dr. Williams, and their family.
What a sad loss. Thoughts and prayers going out for Walter and the entire Williams family.
Oh no. May she Rest In Peace. Prayers for Walter and the family.
We are deeply saddened at this news. Rest in Peace Mrs. Williams, and we wish only the best for the future for Professor Walter Williams. Our prayers for both of them and their family.
Sad Dr Walter ping
Prayers for Walter and his loved ones.
Oh, I loved the way he talked about his wife!
So sorry for his loss.
I tried to post this several hours ago because I knew many here like Dr. Williams, but it got blocked. (Lew Rockwell.) Haven’t been able to find it anywhere else...glad the news finally got out...a tragic loss for this great American and devoted husband.
OH NO!!!!! Mrs. Williams gone? What a great loss.
I met Walter and his wife at a wedding a few years ago - I said the same thing to her...
I tell the dog, Bubba, every day that if he knocks me down and I pass on, he will have no one to walk him.
Loss is never easy and the more one has loved the more it hurts. I hope Dr. Williams finds peace in his tears and that those tears wash away the pain in his heart.
My prayers are with him and his family
God Bless Mrs. Williams.
Hope she got to take the vacuum cleaner she got from Walter to heaven.
My prayers for the Mr. Williams and his family. May his wife rest in the beautiful peace of the Lord!
Remember the one where he bought her ice crampons so she wouldn’t slip and fall while scraping the ice off the windows of his car?
The death is a loss for us all. Walter E Williams is truly a great American who shares his life and wife with us on a very nonosense down to earth manner.
Dr. Williams is also my very favorite Rush guest host. His wife must have had a GREAT sense of humor, because he’d tell jokes about her which would cause women callers to chastise him. (Ex: He said he bought golf shoes for his wife so she wouldn’t slip on the ice while washing his car in the winter. LOL)
A long and happy marriage is a rare thing. Blessings upon him and his family during this very sad time.
