Ok, let’s say that is true. Why has Mitt spent so much money, a good amount of it to recapture gains more than a couple of times. He has made his case over and over, often to the same people. Why is it not sticking.

Given what he has spent in Iowa alone this thing should be in the bag if he was the “Golden One”

Why does he have to burn so much fuel just to maintain his current altitude? That more than anything else is going to become an issue soon. ROI is kicking in for Mitt and the GOP as well...

Simple. There is a large choice of candidates. The winner only has to get a small percentage of the vote to win. Money does not ensure victory. If people don’t want to vote for you, they won’t, no matter how much money you spend. The same thing is happening with only three candidates in Iowa on the dem side. There is no “Golden One” for the majority of people.
