LifeNews.com ^ | January 1, 2008 | Steven Ertelt

Posted on 01/01/2008 2:17:25 PM PST by SErtelt

When Iowa Republicans head to party meetings on Thursday night to cast their ballots for a candidate to represent the GOP in this year's presidential election, they should reject Rudy Giulaini. The former mayor has a long pro-abortion record and his recent attempts to moderate his image are disingenuous.

Giuliani  = Liberal

Has our Party gone the way of the dinosaurs?
Have we lost our values?

If we elect a man who supports gay rights and is pro-choice, we can no longer call ourselves conservative.  Have we sunk so low that we would elect a person who dresses in drag?  Marches in gay pride parades?   Giuliani is a liberal running as a conservative.  He's pro-amnesty, pro-gun control, and pro-gay.  He is intelligent and has governed New York City successfully, BUT he is not a true conservative by any measure.  Conservatives wake up?
God help us if we elect a liberal

FOX NEWS  SUCKS

JUST ANOTHER DRIVE BY LIBERAL MEDIA OUTLET

I used to think FOX channel reported the truth and was unbiased.  Wrong ..they are just as bad as CNN, C-Span, NBC, etc.

The spin and lack of any coverage to some candidates proves the point.  FOX has their agenda and it's not conservative.  I don't trust them anymore, so I have to look  to the internet for the truth.  I know there are many people that feel the same way, Fred Thompson supporters, Duncan Hunter supporters, and Ron Paul supporters to name a few.

At least you can get all sides of an issue on the internet.  Thank God for the internet.

SCREW FOX

Fox News (and especially Sean Hannity) has clearly been looking for a Rooty vs. Hitlery race since 2004. They are not anti-Republican, but they are very anti-conservative.

I’m pro-choice. I’m pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. “No, I have not supported that, and I don’t see my position on that changing,” he responded. ANDERSON COOPER 360 DEGREES (November 14, 2006)

RUDY GIULIANI (R), FORMER MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY: I'm pro- choice. I'm pro-gay rights.

KING: Giuliani supports a woman's right to an abortion, and back in 1999, he opposed a federal ban on late-term abortions.

GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing.

KING: Immigration could be another presidential landmine. Back in 1996, Mayor Giuliani went to federal court to challenge new federal laws requiring the city to inform the federal government about illegal immigrants.

JEFFREY: He took the side of illegal immigrants in New York City against the Republican Congress.

KING: Giuliani opposes same-sex marriage but as mayor, he supported civil unions and extending health and other benefits to gay couples. He also supported the assault weapons ban and other gun control measures opposed by the National Rifle Association.

GIULIANI: I'm in favor of gun control. I'm pro-choice.

Republican Big-Wigs Support Pro-Abortion Event in NY

Pro-abortion Governor George Pataki and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who also supports unrestricted abortion, are co-chairs of the 2000 Choice Award Presentation to be held on May 30 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. The event is sponsored by the Republican Pro-Choice Coalition, a group that is campaigning for the removal of the pro-life plank from the Republican National Platform.

Has our Party gone the way of the dinosaurs?

Not quite like the dinosaurs. They went extinct in a fairly quick manner. This species insists on taking the scenic view to the museum.

Rudy-Tooty-Fresh-and-(apparently) Fruity: Seeing one's potential Commander-in-Chief in high heels doesn't inspire confidence when it comes to fighting Islamic terrorism abroad or a persistently growing Culture of Death at home, in my opinion.

If we don’t defend our freedoms we may soon be all pro-life and pro-straight-marriage, but not in the church of our choosing.

Rudy Giuliani, though not a model of morality, is highly qualified to protect the country’s borders, freedoms, and the dignity of the individual (and YES, of the unborn by his appointment of judges.)
