This is good news in my opinion. It Fred Thompson cannot stay in, I would much rather see McCain go up against Guiliani on Super Tuesday than Romney.

Agree. Let’s face it, relatively speaking McCain is preferable to Romney, Huck or Giuliani. Oh yeah — and McCain would beat Hillary nearly hands down; he’d put the Upper Midwest (particularly MI) in play and hold all the typical GOP states elsewhere.

I’d love to see Hill try to smear a certified war hero. The backlash would be considerable.

2. What makes you think Romney wouldn’t be going up against Rudy on Super Tuesday?
