Mitt Romney on Iran authorization
Mitt Romney Calling all Lawyers

TOPICS: News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: iran; lawyers; ourjohnkerry; romney
The more I listen to this guy the more I can't stand him. He sounds like a more refined version of John Kerry. This reminds me of the way Clinton handled foreign policy.

That's what he is. A liberal trying desparately to look like a conservative.

More fool us if we fall for the act.

“Refined version of John Kerry”. Look at his history and where he is from. He tried to out Kennedy, Kennedy.

There is only one way to become Governor of the most liberal state in the Union.

...and it ain't being a true Conservative.

I know it is horrible. The only reason he is in the running is his money and his looks because it sure isn’t his history of commitment to conservative principles. He supports a Health Care plan that is indistinguishable from Hillary Clinton. Mitt has been working mojo on Iowa conservatives. At least his campaign is at a virtual standstill now as Huckabee deflates.

I am hearing a lot of pundits trying to indercut Huckabee in Iowa and Mc Cain in NH. If they are successful and Romney wins both, he has a huge leg up on the nomination. I can’t figure out why conservative pundits/talk show hosts would want to advance Romney’s campaign when he is a true Mass. Liberal trying to act like a concervative. I even heard Rush today repeating some of the Romney talking points about Huckabee. This really concerns me, because I seee what I thought wer conservatives attacking conservatives to beneft a Liberal. Well, this conservative will never, ever vote for Mitt Romney.

Our "conservative" media personalities have been a huge disappointment so far in this election cycle. For many of them, I think they've decided they want to be "media" rather than "conservative."

I don’t think Mc Cain or Huck even if they win Iowa and NH can secure the nomination. However, if Romney wins both, he can. The best bet for those who support other candidates is to get Romney out of the way early as he has the most money. It may not be the most palitable solution, but it is the most pragmatic. If you don’t kick Romney to the curb early, he wins the nomination. If that’s what you want, keep beating up on Huck in Iowa and Mc Cain in NH and I will just go to my cave knowing that Hillary will be our President in 09.

Unfortunately, Romney’s “talking points” about Huckabee are all true. Huckabee did advocate in-state tuition breaks and scholarships for illegals in Arkansas, he did commute more sentences than all his neighboring states combined and more than his three (democrat) predecessors combined, and he did increase spending by 65% while governor.

Huckabee likes to call Romney’s attacks on his record “negative” and dirty. But they’re all true - which is why all Huckabee can do is pull a charade about “not wanting to go negative”. Actually responding to Romney’s attacks would do nothing but hurt Huck because he can’t disprove ANY of them.

Well unless he take Iowa and NH by a big number, his costs are going to bring him down fast. I think we maybe done with Mitt in the near future. he is just to damned expensive.

Easy, people like that believe the liberal view that if you tell a lie and as long as you believe it, then it is not a lie and or sin.

If you read the text of the transcript of the debate He is not asked the "imminent threat" question that the rest of the candidates subsequently get. He had already stated that if there was an imminent threat he would act unilaterally and decisively. His question was about what to do now. His answer is the same as what Bush has said.
