A Layman's Guide to Man-Made Global Warming The purpose of this paper is to provide a laymans critique of the Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) theory, and in particular to challenge the fairly widespread notion that the science and projected consequences of AGW currently justify massive spending and government intervention into the worlds economies. This paper will show that despite good evidence that global temperatures are rising and that CO2 can act as a greenhouse gas and help to warm the Earth, we are a long way from attributing all or much of current warming to man-made CO2. We are even further away from being able to accurately project mans impact on future climate, and it is a very debatable question whether interventions today to reduce CO2 emissions will substantially improve the world 50 or 100 years from now.
A video version of this guide called What is Normal? A Critique of Catastrophic Man-Made Global Warming Theory is now available for free download.
A Youtube Playlist for the film is here. This is a cool feature I have not used before, but will effectively let you run the parts end to end, making the 50-minute video more or less seamless.

Thanks for the post. Here’s my ultra condensed version.
01 marxist desire to control

04 straw horse case desiminated
05 weak minds buy into straw horse case
06 believers and non-believers are bullied by marxists
07 non-believers get tired of the nonsense
08 non-believers develop their case
09 non-believer case disiminated

And so it goes...
4 measely degrees this morning, only 11 right now - how is that I can whip up some GW again????????????????
~~Anthropogenic Global Warming ping~~
One word: manbearpig.
Are you series?
They propose that "normal" = "unchanging", and even a cursory glance at the data falsifies their null hypothesis.
Gotta say, this Climate Change thingie sure has gone screwy lately .... Friday Dec 28 2007: Morning sleet and sheet of ice on my SUV's windshield, hard to scrape it away, took 10 minutes ... Sat/Sun/Mon Dec 29/30/31: Kinda warm but chilly and raining, no ice on SUV windshield ... Tuesday Jan 1: Didn't go outside at all ... Wednesday Jan 2: Chilly outside, but no morning ice on SUV windshield.
We'll see what tomorrows Climate Change brings .......
Record LOW temp for tonight here on the Florida panhandle 20 degrees and snow flurries expected overnight in Daytona Beach. Global warming? I don’t think so.
I’m beginning to be really concerned about Illumination Change. I was out at lunch today, and for some odd reason it was so bright that I saw spots when I went back inside. I was outside just now (freezing my @$$ off, trying to get my old truck to start), and it is so dark out that I can’t hardly see anything. If we have experienced that dramatic of a change in a mere nine hours, I truly fear what tomorrow may bring...
<8-)
BTTT
Very good.

We started the year 20 degrees UNDER the average.
5 years ago I installed a set-back thermostat on my central heater
This year I installed one on my pellet stove -
Proof - Old one reads 70 degrees and new one 72...
If you don't believe it, just come and look -
That should be scientific proof enough for anyone!
You should certainly worry about that .. I agree ... this dark to light, light to dark, back to light and then back to dark again thingie is truly worrisome ... my guess is that we should all call and email our US Representatives, as well as the UN, in order to have them study this unnatural phenomenon ... I mean, even Monday night, I was watching the New Years Celebration in Times Square on TV, and ya know what??? It looked like full daylight there, and this was at MIDNIGHT !!!!! SHEESH !!!!
I got a way that Al Gore and the environmental crowd can reduce CO2 emissions today:
I bet they don't get past item 1.
“Normal” is a setting on your dryer. Nothing more.
It's stuff like volcanoes and the sun that effect our weather - However, I think we aught to file a class action suit against boreGore for breach of promise. I was really looking forward to some warming up...
