IRVING, Texas (AP) - Irving police have issued a capital murder warrant for a cab driver accused of fatally shooting his two teenage daughters.
The bodies were found in his taxi.
Fifty-year-old Yaser Abdel Said of Lewisville is accused of shooting 17-year-old Sarah Yaser Said and 18-year-old Amina Yaser Said on Tuesday night.
No word yet on a motive.
Police today surrounded Said's home for about five hours, yelling through loudspeakers for anyone to exit -- and later firing canisters inside.
It turns out the home was empty.
Police say a domestic issue may have led to the shooting deaths. Further details weren't released.
Jet Taxi operations manager Chris Petersen said he was unable to release any information but that the company was in contact with police.

That's probably it. Mine get a case of too "Americanized" periodically. It's a challenge even for those of us who grew up here.
This is not the first time this has happened in our country, by the way. I know it happened at least once before and the only reason the parents were convicted was because the FBI had “bugged” their home (the father was a suspected Palestinian terrorist sympathizer and supporter). Reportedly, the “old man” only appreciated this country because there were so many ways for him to make money by cheating, thieving, etc. He was true scum of the earth and practitioner of the “religion of Peace”.

Yep. After 40 years in a cell, costing $40-$50 grand a year at tax payer expense, while appeal after appeal goes through our court system.
If it has been proven beyond a doubt that a person is guilty of a crime, why the delay?

I don’t think Texas lets them linger that long. Texas and Oklahoma both passed laws to expedite the process. Here in Oklahoma, I think it usually takes about 7 years for them to exhaust their appeals.
What I see is a double standard is that the press WILL ALWAYS tell you that a criminal or pervert is a Viet Nam veteran (even 30 years after the fact), but NEVER mention the IMMIGRATION status, ethnic makeup, or Islamic connection, of a minority that is a criminal or pervert.
