I don’t know. Jimmy Carter seems to have become agitated. Perhaps he’s been channeling the child trapped in that dunces body.

Edwards needs to learn the difference between bored and calm. I know bored people tend to behave in a fairly calm manner, but the give away is 5 minutes later when they fall asleep.

Hillary will give us health care.
Edwards just saved the world.
What’s the problem? Aren’t all these things true?

Edwards grandly claimed that his phone call to Pakistani President .... was a calming influence that helped stabilize an international crisis and was proof he is ready for the Presidency.

His lack of understanding of the situation in Pakistan is astonishing. We don’t need to ‘calm’ Musharraf’; we need to keep him alive! Does he realize how close AQ may be to getting its hands on Pakistans nuclear arsenal?

Musharraf was probably really ticked he had a parade of bloviating RAT Party jackasses trying to gain politically at the expense of his time and patience.

What was Edwards - a private citizen - doing calling Musharraf in the first place?

Dr. Musharraf, 60, said he might try to telephone his brother, but I doubt I can reach him because of the emergency.
#####
President Bush was late making a formal statement after the assassination of Bhutto, and being late for a press meeting is rare for him. He also looked very angry when he read his brief statement.
I wonder if
a) Musharref gave Bush an earful about American wannabees bothering him on such a terrible day
or
b) Musharref delayed taking Bush’s call, after being forced to speak to Silky.
