SandRat, how is the ANA doing overall? Will they be able to stand up and make a go of the nation or will regional tribalism break the country up after we leave? It seems to me Afghanistan has a much more difficult road to hoe than Iraq.

It’s back to what it was under British Colonial East India Company control away from the Capital in the Capital and the surrounding area it’s progressing nicely.

The ANA still has a way to go but they are learning.

They’ve got to overcome Soviet State Puppet occupation and incompetence. Taliban revolt and Soviet brutality, stupidity that lasted 8 bloody years, and then Taliban 7th Century stupidity after that. There’s a lot of learning yet to be done.
