Well, if Obama or Hillary wins we will know who to blame.
I don't think that third in Iowa will really break Thompson though.

Two reasons. One is how much money Romney spent in Iowa.
But the real reason is that Thompson can count on doing better in the southern states, and Romney can't. So Romney needs to do well in these early states.
