Why should the Brits be encouraged to carry out ‘self-care’ when medical care is free? There is something screwy about the whole story.

Well, if we are being taxed for socialized medicine and are expected to do it ourself, then shouldn't the government be expected to earn their own tax revenue rather than simply steal from the peasants?
