Because Hunter knows that staying on a conservative message is a winner.
It's only a matter of time before every medium picks up on the little engine that could (wouldn't give up), and his name and message will be all over the place.
And justly so.
Talk about strategery!

Traditionally, the South is conservative and hopefully, will wake up to the media manipulation pushing moderates to the front.Agreed, and predictably, the wind will go out of Giuliani and Romney's sails when they find the South won't give them the time of day. It will be interesting to see the dynamics between Huck, Fred, and Hunter in the South...

It, however, is not my value system. Accordingly and proudly, I continue to support Duncan Hunter for President this year. Here! Here! BRAVO!

Here's Duncan Hunter in a debate. You'll notice that he explicitly addressed Fred Thompson in argument while stating a good position (defense).

Duncan Hunter's long experience is in national defense. Thompson's experience is that of two terms in the Senate and more recently, in the State Dept. (referring to Thompson's very recent job as Chairman of the State Dept. Advisory Board).

For the last time, Hunter S. Thompson is dead.Yes. 'Twas a joke. Hunter Thompson = Hunter/Thompson.
They're not very funny if you have to explain them...

His campaign is far from over.I have this idea, maybe wishful thinking, but for the last few days Rush keeps harping about real conservatives, those running who are not real conservatives, and there is only one real conservative. I feel like he baiting the audience, because he never says who the only real conservative is. But we know who he is, HUNTER. I suspect Rush is got something up his sleeve which will propel Hunter into the top of the fray.

If for no other reason than to give OUR PARTY two Conservative voices to speak truth to the lies of liberals like mitt, huckster and mclame. He is doing the Nation a favor... the contrast with Hunter and Fred against these dims with an “R” by their name will be gleaming on National TV. Whether the brain-dead segment of the Republican party will listen... who knows. I am praying hard over it.

No, but is he smart enough to know when hes wasting time and money?
Yes and that's why he is continuing with his campaign.
The MSM simply WILL NOT cover him and with that and no money, hes done.
All thats missing is the fork
I'm glad to see you haven't fallen under the influence of the socialist media by drinking its Kool Aid.

Actually, Hunter was the man who leaned away from the lectern and put his hand in his pocket before Fred told that dreadful woman that he wasn’t going to raise his hand.
There are photos of that moment everywhere on the net. Just instinct, I guess.
People are going to be so dismayed at a Huckster win that they just might start paying attention now.

I also heard this monologue and reached the same conclusion. It maybe interesting.

He received 443 votes in the Iowa Caucus last night. Considering no one was bused in and rallied like the other candidates campaigns, I think that is a nice showing.

I will be voting for Duncan Hunter and I am pleased he is aware that Iowa is just the first ‘pig’ call... Anyway didn’t Iowa go for the liberal candidate in the past 2-3 presidential elections.
Now on to that ‘hard rock’ state where John McCain seems poised to be their hero. I will NOT be voting for John McCain, either on a Republican, Independent, Democrat, or third party ticket.
The one thing I am most surprised about is there was NO miracle for Hillry in Iowa. Guess Obama got the buses rented first.

I also heard this monologue and reached the same conclusion. It maybe interesting.I too was listening, and wanted him to NOT be so 'negative' about NO conservatives this political season. Now I use these words because his praise of Rudy has always been about how 'positive' a campaign he was running. It did not seem to matter that there is nothing conservative about Rudy, only that he was running a positive campaign.
I am not holding my breath about Rush responding in a timely matter regarding this election. Hunter willing to point out that the supposed 'FREE TRADE' theology is NOT so free will cause him flack from the capitalists and the majority of capitalists these days are NOT conservative.
To: Grunthor
“Why?”
Why? Because he’s the best conservative running. He has the best provable conservative record. And, he’s not a quitter.
He is my number 1 choice, and I’ll support him as long as he’s running. Hell, I may even write him in if he’s not the nominee in November, and the Republicans run some RINO.
