You absolutely DID denigrate us by implying we are star struck.
I have followed Thompson for a decade or more. I never watched him on Law and Order, and have only seen one of his movies.
I couldn’t care less about his status as an actor.
And I won’t stop using my ping graphics, which are based on an inside FRedhead joke based on a newspaper article. Some people must have guilty consciences if they think it is referring to them.

Oh, not for not caring less about Fred's status as an actor. For finally being the first I've seen use the proper term "could['nt]" instead of the improper "could".
Everytime someone writes "I could care less that..." it gets my dander up. What they're effectively saying is, they COULD care less; just the opposite of what they intend to say.
Sorry for the rant. It's a real pet peeve I have.
