I have more often wondered why some people insist on going to places they don’t like the way it is. It used to be a free country....no one forced anyone who disliked cigarette smoke to go into bars, or restaurants, where there’s cigarettes smoked.

Why didn’t these same people see fit to open their own establishments sans cigarettes for their like-minded nanny staters???? No money in it?

Here in Virginia, the Republicans have kept the Democrats at bay over this issue. Companies and businesses decide on their own. My favorite bar allows smoking after 9pm and any other time you can go upstairs to the second level and smoke. In the spring and summer they have a deck that also allows smoking. Other bars have caved into the anti-smokers and have banned smoking without a dictate from the state. They won’t get my patronage.

It's no different that when some dunderhead buys a house near an airport, knowing full well that the airport is there... And then demanding that the airport either shutdown and move, or restrict the hours of operation so that the dunderhead can get his or her beauty sleep!
