Candidly says on MSNBC: You are absolutely right. Were not competitive in New Hampshire. And we wont be campaigning there other than to go in for the debates which are tomorrow night and sunday night.
Makes similar statements on Fox. Says focus is South Carolina.

Well, at least he will have an excuse in this one.

It’s a good move. No need to squander limited resources in a lib state any way. That been said, he better do well in those debates.

I agree, but I swear I read an article just a few weeks ago telling us he’s going to go gangbusters after NH.

I gotta agree. McCain is going to win NH by a huge margin, followed by Rudy and Mitt (order may be reversed).
Why spend money there when there’s no way anyone but those three will place higher than fourth???

Well, while everyone else is pouring money and resources into NH, Thompson will be pouring it into SC ahead of the others.
Even your own candidate, Hunter, pretty much skipped Iowa for much the same reason.

It will be interesting to see how Wyoming turns out tomorrow.
If one can find any press about it at all, that is.

We have Wyoming (today) and South Carolina later this month.
The debates will be interesting.

I was going to say... I don’t think any of the candidates have spent any time on WY.

By the way, how did you manage to go to Iowa and vote for Duncan 502 times?

I just finished watching Kucinich on H&C explaining why he's still relevant in the Democratic primary: because he didn't compete in Iowa, he says.
If the MSM is going to make skipping a state a capital crime, then they should balance the idea with expose's on all the candidates who have skipped whatever relevant state they skipped.

Hunter spent about $500 in Iowa. Got 500 votes. Fred spent about a cool mil and got how many??

I’m not slamming Fred for skipping. It’s a smart move, actually. He’d have to spend his entire fortune just for a 3rd or 4th place finish.

Yes, Wyoming will be interesting, as no candidates have actively campaigned there. I read that the results should be in by 3 pm tomorrow. Probably their time.

NH is so liberal now, this is the right move for Fred.
McLame is the libs guy, until they don’t need him anymore.

And you must admit, Hunter (and Tancredo, were he still in the race) has the same dilemma. NH is really liberal these days.

I hope the author has an excuse for that title. What is amazing is that there is an MSM article at all on Thompson to title, so intent have they been on blacking out Fred of the Third Place Finish in Iowa.

This is just plain scary... "for GRANITE "? Where did this person get their degree? Do they even bother with editors anymore???
As for the content of the article... No surprise there frankly. I've been hearing this was the plan for a while now.
