My oh my...how I wish President Bush would take these morons on.
President Bush has been politically absent since his re-election. He has single handedly destroyed the Republican majority thru bad decisions on immigration, the war (before the surge), and his lack of using the "bully pulpit'. He is our Jimmy Carter.

“He is our Jimmy Carter.”
You might want to check out Carter’s dismal economic record before posting such an assinine comment.

with the exception of the last remark about Carter, you are correct. He actually made a nice comeback in ‘07 in achievement and steadfastness, but it may be too late. A great amount of damage has been done to the GOP and conservative movement in the past three years. We are leaderless and without a voice. Hopefully someone will rise up in this election to take that position back.

He was re-elected while running as the son of Reagan but reverted to the son of H.W. Bush. Don't forget the Harriet Miers fiasco and the profligate spending with the help of a so called "conservative" Republican Congress. I gave up on Bush after he tried to sell us amnesty for illegals.

Actually I like to think of W. Bush as the new Richard Nixon. At least Nixon and W got a few things right. Unfortunately their mistakes cost the party dearly in the long run.
