In our republic, the role of the media is to provide information to the citizens, so they can select their leaders and help to decide the direction of our country. The media should not be choosing our leaders for us.Yeah, too bad it doesn't seem to happen that way...
What about Duncan Hunter?
When you want to have the very best.

Ping. Duncan Hunter is a man’s man. That is why the mainstream press is afraid of him. Anything dilligent, virtuous, smart, and puts country ahead of self, isn’t wanted by the press and party....but if America would listen to the man for five minutes, they’d fight to get his name to the top of the list!

WHAT ABOUT DUNCAN HUNTER? Conservatives wanted to wait around for the Great Pumpkin Fred because they've been told Hunter was unelectable. Surely, conservatives should have done in terms of grassroots for Hunter like libertarians did for Paul.

So now they’ll get McCain.
Nice work by the all or nothing crowd

I wish people would have paid attention to Duncan. He really is a great man, a patriot, and a true conservative.

He’s as done as a cold, bloody steak. Hunter has plenty of fight left in him. Stop being a Johnny Raincloud and tell your friends and family about him.

If anyone is interested; these are my comments on the Republican debate site regarding only backing a candidate who can win. This is my opinion only and it’s why I support Duncan Hunter. I believe he does get it.
You may be right in what you say. In the pragmatic world people feel they must back people that can win an election.
While American politics has always been built on the art of compromise; I feel that losing sight of our values and goals for the sake of compromise has led the American aim to be off the mark.
That is my only point. Duncan Hunter most closely mirrors my idea of whats important for American values even though he is considered to not have a chance to win by some.
Also, we have backed candidates who can win over the years for so long thats pretty much what all we do now. We have lost our foundation and issues.
For example: Immigration. This should have never happened.

Megadittos on that, Tom Tancredo would have had a chance too if he wouldn’t link every issue to illegal immigration.
Ron Paul would do better if he would stop linking every proplem the US has to the War in IRAQ?

I might add that I am not downing the poster that I was conversing with. She had some valid points to make.

Your support for the under dog is impressive but it’s time to STOP beating a dead horse. Hunter is done. He may have allot of fight left but people don’t want him. It’s obvious.
