I understand you don't like Huckabee. BUT trying to cherry pick sentences from articles from 1999 can make you look silly. (I am still torn between Huckabee and Thompson, no other GOP candidate is Conservative Enough on the three issues that matter most to ME, Marriage, Abortion, and the 2nd Amendment.)

There’s no candidate more pro-Christian than a solid economic conservative. The fact that Governor Huckabee believes in Christ is meaningless. Carter was a Baptist preacher as well.
