Yeah, noted that. Also noted that how good W was from the start of his campaign, unlike the current batch.

That’s the typical age of a Republican President here. Reagan was 69 when he was first elected (served until age 77), Bush was 64, Ford was 61.

Democrats tend to be a little younger. Clinton was 46, Carter was 53 and Kennedy was 42. That plays against Hillary and in favor of Obama and Edwards.

Mitt, born in March 1947 (Hillary - Nov 1947) is proof that not all boomers were radical liberals.

We always donate in the primaries, this year to more than one candidate. I am not a Huckabee fan at all, but understand his appeal.

McCain is at the top of his game toady on Meet the Press. I am afraid that he is the new front-runner.

Reagan Man, there is seldom nastiness on this thread, but every once in a while someone like you pops in.

If it was on Al Jazera he probably thought it prudent to ignore, I cannot believe that Frost missed it.

Look booboo, we’re discussing politics here.

If you find the debate too strong for your tastes, either grow some thicker skin, or move along.

Thankfully the consequences of doing anything to the President I think would deter most and only the most ignorant or crazy person or organisation would attempt it.

I do not believe any serious organisation in the middle east would attempt it but the security services both US and national ones in each country need to be on the outlook for either an individual or very extreme non affiliated organisation that may.

I personally think the odds are much against anything being tried during this visit it is too high profile I think the more likely time would be on visit to an area that would be considered “safe” but again unlikely to happen IMHO but security forces cannot afford to let their guard down even if unlikely.

I agree he has to win or finish a close second in SC to remain a serious contender.

I am not a Huckabee fan at all, but understand his appeal.

A lot of his appeal is due to his being his supporters' co-religionist. That would be like my supporting Rudy or Sen. Kerry because I want a Catholic in the Whitehouse. I don't vote that way and I find such emoting to be short-sighted. I would vote for an atheist if he were a solid conservative leader. We're voting for President, not for pastor.

“we can get a fresh new candidate, like Jeb.”

Do you live in FL? Jeb will not stop illegal immigration and I believe favors McCain/Kennedy.
