The seasoned Hill aide knew what she was getting into when she agreed to become Hillary Clinton's chief of staff. The woman was quite prepared for all eyes to be on the biggest celebrity arriving in Congress, the first lady of the United States, who was expected to use her Senate seat as a springboard back into the White House.
But what caught Tamera Luzzatto unawares was the full force of the Hillary machine already in place and making decisions.
"All of a sudden, I had the equivalent of a board of trustees -- an infrastructure that was integral to how she did business," recalls Luzzatto, who continues as Clinton's top Senate aide. "They knew what made her tick, how she thought, how to present advice to her -- with everyone united in a determination to see her do well. It was certainly a new experience."
Fifteen years after Clinton first brought these women together at the White House, the "board" has officially reconvened to help map her unprecedented effort to follow in her husband's footsteps. They are acutely aware their work is making history. Once seen as a tight little sorority, today the group -- happily self-described as "Hillaryland"-- is at the center of a front-running presidential campaign. Never have so many women operated at such a high level in one campaign, working with a discipline and a loyalty and a legendary secrecy rarely seen at this level of American politics.
Older and tougher, they have formed a closely knit Praetorian Guard around Clinton that plots strategy, develops message and clamps down on leaks. But their extraordinary protectiveness also contributes to an ongoing perception of insularity around the candidate and the campaign.
Patti Solis Doyle, 41, Clinton's very first hire in 1991, now oversees the national campaign.

Hillary’ biggest problem is herself. Looking at her last night in the crusty black pantsuit and Yech green sweater underneath, she just looked manly.
I can’t understand why she did not come to that debate dressed like a lady. Instead of looking and acting like a man, she could have at least tried to comport herelf in the vein of looking more Thatcherlike. Of course she could never be that way policy or smarts wise.
There is no end to the Clinton mistakes. It must be hard to make the woman appear likeable.

All these really smart women mostly lawyers failed herHillary, of course, being the Smartest Woman on the Planet. The feminists are becoming an old, tired lot. I'm just wondering if the decided to put their bras back on now that things are starting to sag up there...in New Hampshire, of course.

Not so inevitable anymore like a royal waiting to be crowned queen. Who controlled media questioning for so long like she was already president and above the fray.
One of Hill's wise guys. What a miserable campaign manager who has a dubious foreign background just like main squeeze Humma----->>>

A World Gone Mad - Between Hillary Care and the Slaughter of Christians
Word has it around the blogosphere and forums that Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, Patti Solis Doyle, is the daughter of a Mexican immigrant that crossed the border illegally originally before finally qualifying for a visa. For those of us that follow the illegal alien invasion closely this is indicative of Hillary's position on the immigration issue.
But. . . if Hillary supports the illegals, how come under her Hillary Care illegal immigrants would not be covered?
And speaking of Universal Health Care/Socialized Medicine/Hillary Care (so many names or such a ridiculous idea), it seems that some states are passing state sponsored health plans for children, paid for by smokers, and the Democrats would like such plans to be dictated by Federal regulation. Okay, I have a question. What if, as The Truth dot Com pushes for, everybody quit smoking? Then how would you pay for it?
And what if, as the Democrats seem to push for, we became a socialist state and everyone became dependent upon the government to pay for everything? And we all just quit working because the Government, as promised by the Democrats, will give us free health care, free this, free that. . . then how would they pay for it?
Oh, that's right, tax the rich, make them pay for it.
But what if, because of all of your social programs, Democrats, there is no longer anybody wealthy either? Then how will you pay for your programs?

We know the answer to that question. Our brilliant socialist leaders seeking "change" will follow the same old third world model:
(1)Loot a good chunk of any government revenue for friends and family.
(2)Deliver social services so badly that most citizens don't even try to obtain them.
(3)Inflate the currency to devalue "benefits".
(4)Keep lots of funds offshore and the engine of your fleet of private jets running 24/7 in case the natives get restless.
:-(

We know the answer to that question. Our brilliant socialist leaders seeking "change" will follow the same old third world model:"Change" and other annoying buzzwords fill the air because Hillary has never done anything. With no accomplishments to point to, to brag about, you traffic in empty words and juvenile theme of the day campaigning. All this applies to Hussein Obama too

I’d love to have the testicle lock box concession for that group.

"They knew what made her tick, how she thought, how to present advice to her -- with everyone united in a determination to see her do well. It was certainly a new experience." What does it say about the woman, that her staff has to 'know' how to present advice to her.
If there was truth in politics, her entourage would arrive in a motorcade of Subarus!

I don’t envy this group’s job one bit. That’s to do the equivalent of selling a truckload of overpriced manure to non farmers.
I think they’re working on the premise of “a win is a win” as they need some serious bad luck to befall others for their victory. It’s not that they’re hoping for a major break to go their way but are counting on it.

Evening with Patti Solis-Doyle
by ademption, Tue Oct 16, 2007 at 11:28:40 PM EST
Patti's second life lesson is no matter where you go, never forget where you came from. She then outlined her family history. Her father was an illegal immigrant from Mexico, who was deported 2x. He only received a third grade education. Her father worked 3 jobs and her mother 2 jobs to provide for their family and to earn money to send Patti and her siblings to Catholic school. Patti admitted that she came from the "hood" as she described it.

More about Hill's genius campaign manger---->>>
The third life lesson was to have confidence in yourself and be prepared. She then described her work experience as the campaign manager for Hillary Clinton's campaign. She told the audience that people in HRC's campaign have very strong personalities and they often have opinions which they disagree with each other. She said that was fine. Hillary prefers hearing divergent viewpoints and then making decisions based upon the best argument. However Patti made it clear that it was her role to resolve these differences and make a decision as to the direction of the campaign.
The fourth life lesson was to always be there for people who are there for you. She then discussed Hillaryland. She said that Hillaryland is like a family. She would take a bullet for Hillary or anyone else in the campaign and vice versa. She said that it's a very nurturing place....
The fifth life lesson was don't ever get cocky. She then said that the polls have been good for the campaign lately. However, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. She then said that she wasn't running a frontrunner's campaign. In fact, Hillary would fire her if she ran a frontrunner's campaign. She wanted the campaign to stay focused and wake up every morning like they are several points down in the polls. She then went on to ask the audience to please volunteer to help the campaign. She said that they could use all the help that they could get....

Voters want to be told fairy tales and be conned. She is happy to oblige
